About the Role
A well-established professional services firm is seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join its leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior partners, deliver high-quality tax services, and play a key role in advisory projects such as reorganizations, estate planning, and business transactions. Based in Southwestern Ontario with a flexible hybrid arrangement, the position combines client-facing work with technical expertise and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead multiple operations of the tax practice, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness in all deliverables.
• Prepare and review corporate, trust, and personal tax returns, as well as specialized forms and filings.
• Provide tax planning, research, and advisory services, including participation in client meetings.
• Manage special projects such as transactions, reorganizations, and estate freezes.
• Serve as a trusted resource for internal professionals and clients, identifying value-added opportunities.
• Develop, coach, and review the work of junior team members.
• Contribute to process improvements, best practices, and training initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• CPA designation with completion or near-completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Program.
• 3–5 years of progressive tax management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in tax accounting, compliance, and research.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
• Leadership skills with a collaborative, mentoring approach.

The total compensation package includes:
• Base salary range: $110,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience
