About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial manufacturing organization in the London area as its next Controller. Reporting directly to ownership and senior leadership, the Controller will serve as the financial backbone of the business, providing the insights, analysis, and financial leadership required to support continued growth and operational excellence.

This is far more than a traditional accounting role. The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner, helping ownership understand not only what has happened financially, but what it means for the future and what actions should be taken to drive performance. Working across multiple business units, the Controller will oversee all accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, cost accounting, job costing, inventory valuation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including production costing, inventory management, margin analysis, and capital investment evaluation. You will work closely with leadership, operations, sales, and plant management to provide meaningful analysis, improve processes, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded CPA who enjoys operating in a hands-on environment where they can make a direct impact on the success and scalability of the business.
